You might be eligible to vote by mail. It is easy, convenient and secure. You can vote your entire ballot – from president to all the state and local offices — in the comfort of your home. This way you can avoid the long lines at the polls.
You are eligible to vote early by mail if you are a registered voter who is:
• 65 years of age or older
• out of the county during the entire election (must provide out of county address)
• sick or disabled
• confined in jail, but eligible to vote.
Each year, starting in January, you have an opportunity to get all your 2020 ballots by mail for each, including the presidential election. To request a ballot by mail for the Texas 2020 elections, you must contact your County Early Voting Clerk or the Denton County Election Administration at 940-349-3200.
When you receive your ballot by mail, be sure to follow the instructions for returning it. The completed ballot must be placed in envelope, signed and returned by mail. Do not forget to place a Forever or 55-cent stamp on envelope and drop it in the mail so it is received by Election Day.
